ROBERT F. SCHILLBERG, JR., licensed in New Jersey and New York, is now the sole proprietor of Robert F. Schillberg, Jr., LLC, with an office in Red Bank, New Jersey. His practice specializes in the areas of civil litigation, municipal court, residential and commercial real estate, and wills, trusts and estates.

His office represents individuals and companies before the Superior and Municipal Courts throughout the State of New Jersey. In addition, Mr. Schillberg represents individual and business clients in litigating personal injury and commercial matters throughout New Jersey and New York. Mr. Schillberg served as a Municipal Court Judge in Middletown, New Jersey from August, 1999 to December 2000.

Previously, Mr. Schillberg was the founding and managing partner in the law firm of Schillberg & Fiure, LLC, with offices in Red Bank and Toms River, and was a founding partner in the firm of Barnes, Schillberg, Seems & Fiure, LLC, with offices in Red Bank, Toms River and Washington, D.C.

Mr. Schillberg began his private practice in June, 1998 as a sole practitioner with an office in Red Bank, New Jersey representing clients in New Jersey and New York in civil litigation, real estate matters, and wills, trusts and estates matters. Before engaging in private practice, Mr. Schillberg worked in the New York City office of a major insurance company, successfully prosecuting claims for property damage losses. Mr. Schillberg has also defended major insurance companies, third-party administrators, elevator companies, and construction firms against personal injury claims as senior trial counsel for both a large Livingston, New Jersey law firm and a New York City law firm.

Mr. Schillberg graduated Brooklyn Law School with a Doctorate in Jurisprudence in 1985. He also graduated St. John's University in Jamaica, New York with a Bachelor of Science degree cum laude in Criminal Justice in 1982 while achieving various honors, including membership in the St. Vincent's College Honor Society and placement on the St. Vincent's College Dean's List.

Mr. Schillberg has been an active member of his community, serving Middletown Township in a variety of capacities. He has been a candidate for elective office to the Middletown Board of Education in 1996 and 1999, and has served as a member of the Board of Education Citizens Budget Committee from 1996 through 1999, and elected co-chair in 1998. Mr. Schillberg has been a member of the Community Affairs Council for Middletown Township from 1997 - 1999 & 2002, and was elected as president of the Council in 1999 and again in 2002. He was also appointed in 1999 to the Middletown Township Zoning Board of Adjustment. He resigned from both of these positions in 1999 following his appointment as Judge of the Middletown Municipal Court. In addition, Mr. Schillberg is a member of the Knights of Columbus, and has been a continuously active member since first becoming a member of Columbus Council in Brooklyn, New York in 1979. Since September 2001, Mr. Schillberg has been a CCD teacher to fifth grade students at his parish, St. Mary's in Middletown.

Mr. Schillberg lives with his wife, Marie, and two children, Allison and Amanda, in Middletown, New Jersey.
